Who We Are
We are a customer focussed; Northern Territory owned and operated business. We believe that your Uluru experience should be as unique as you are and hence our audio guide allows the freedom to explore Uluru and discover the region at your own pace, however offers all the knowledge and insights that you’d get from a tour guide.
Mark Swindells & Richard Black lead the Uluru Audio Guide team. Both Mark & Richard have lived and worked in Central Australia for over 20 years! With a passion for tourism and the Red Centre, Mark & Richard saw the need to create a user friendly option that would allow people to learn about Uluru and the region at their own pace.
When making a booking or picking up your hire device, you’ll probably meet Brent or Alex. The pair have lived in Central Australia on and off for over 5 years. Both hail from the coast originally but have found themselves at home beside the big red rock amongst the desert sands.
At Uluru Audio Guide we believe in responsible touring because of this we support our local Indigenous Community. We pride ourselves on making ethical tourism choices.
Each year Uluru Audio Guide donates in order to improve services and facilities in Mutitjulu, our local Indigenous community.
We love supporting Anangu employment, because of this on our guides you may hear Anangu, Traditional Owners, sharing their cultural stories about Uluru. Visit Uluru and do the Kuniya walk, or Lungkata walk to hear some of these stories.
Our audio guide provides quality information about the environment, culture and history of our local area. The content on our audio guide has been approved by the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, because of this it is reliable quality information.
At Uluru Audio Guide we pride ourselves on using re-usable packaging for our devices. This means that we are saving waste and avoiding single use plastics.
